Shout out to Pat Cox

Monday shout-out to Pat Cox, associational missionary for Flat River Baptist Association, the group of churches to which Amis Chapel belongs. Pat was at Sunday's service. He is also the chairman of the board of education for Granville County. In his words, "If I don't see them in church, I see them at school."

I started to call on him for comments, but then I thought about the times I've been in a service and just wanted to sit and enjoy and worship, and I was instead called on for some duty. I thought he might like just to sit and worship, but I did ask him to say the closing prayer.
