Today was awesome. I performed my first church baptism, and it was great. Little Nicole Williamson was so happy. I'd like to do that every week. Hope to have pictures soon. Greg took some good ones. The Tucks, just back from Gulfport, MS, serving food with the NC Baptist Men, gave a great report of their trip and did some great mission mobilization for the church. I think we will have a team go next. And the deacons and trustees met at 2:30pm and approved of the suggestion of guiding our futuring process through 'Thy Kingdom Come.' Steve Perkins will present it to the church on Sunday for consideration.
In two weeks we have our Women's Conference with Mrs. Marian Wilson.
Oh, and you want to be the first to see it, http://amischapel.com. Ed King, one of our church's computer men, is heading up our new internet ministry. I heard this afternoon that there was an Amis Chapel website page up, and lo and behold, there it was! We have great folks here. This will be a great ministry tool for the church.
