While on vacation the first of August, we visited the Greenville, SC, Zoo with Amanda's Aunt Cindy, a nurse supervisor at St. Francis Hospital. It was Luke and Rachel's first visit to a zoo. Luke was wowed -- Rachel didn't much care as you can see below.
Luke was prepared with his favorite shirt: his orange "Crazy Monkey" shirt, and his new Thomas the Tank Engine rolling bag.
The WOW factor was there for Luke at the elephant exhibit. He definitely did NOT like the reptile exhibit (smart boy!)
Rachel had better things to do. 
Aunt Cindy took us to the Mellow Mushroom for pizza at One Augusta St., downtown Greenville
Rachel woke up when she smelled the pizza.
You wouldn't believe how happy the drought-strickened Reedy River Falls can make you.
