Amanda opened up the Samaritan's Purse Christmas Catalog 2007 today when it arrived in the mail, and on page 2, listed as the #1 Christmas catalog gift to give this year (give a month's support to an orphan), is pictured our dear Liberian friend Dennis Aggrey holding orphans. What an answer to prayer!

It was Dennis who saved the Samaritan's Purse office in Liberia, because though I was the Country Director and Amanda the bookkeeper, Dennis held our hands and helped us adjust to living in that war-torn country. He drove us around, helped us find our way, find food, find fuel, etc. In fact, I would not take the job in Liberia without his agreeing to work with us. He's one of the best friends I've ever had.
And he will be with us Monday through Thursday for a visit before flying back with the Chestnut Ridge team (which I'll be joining) to Liberia on November 3.
