It's been a productive morning. I got up before the rest of the clan and broke up a place to plant two rows of last year's leftover potatoes that were starting to bud.
After breakfast, Luke helped me put the fertilizer and potatoes in the ground and cover them up. Then I finished breaking up the little garden spot. Should see sprouts in a couple weeks.
The spinach is starting to peek out of the ground, too.
After a few minutes of bat and whiffle ball with Luke, we had a good time flying the kite until his attention span ran out.
