Today was a big day on Southeastern Seminary's campus. The new Patterson Hall, named after Drs. Paige and Dorothy Patterson, was dedicated.
This is the building the Facilities Maintenance department (where I work part-time) has been working so hard to complete all summer.
It has classrooms, the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture, the Ph.D. program, and faculty offices.
The Pattersons, well known for their controversial and heroic stand for the integrity of Scripture in turning Southeastern Seminary back toward its historic purposes, were incredibly humble in all the hoopla about them.
Below is a cell phone picture of Dr. Akin speaking at the dedication. There is also a picture of the crowd gathered for the ceremony.
