SEBTS: Ledford rocks

The flat roof on the Ledford Student Center needs some work. In order to save a large chunk of Cooperative Program monies, several work crews from Facilities began shoveling off the rock on top of the roof today. The carpentry crew helped with building and securing a wooden chute (below) to the dump truck, and we also did some shoveling with James Quinn's crews.

The picture below shows the dump truck with the chute from the flat roof above the Wait Ave. entrance to the student center.

Up on the roof, a lot of guys were shoveling the rock off.
Thankfully, it was 57-59 degrees today.
For some reason, the sight of all these guys shoveling rock reminded me of the scene below from Corrie ten Boom's The Hiding Place: (Just the rocks, not the beating! Ha!)
