It was the last UNC basketball game for the Tarheels last night, and here is a picture of the floor while one of the seniors was giving his speech after the win over Virginia 99-53.
It was pretty busy in the concession stand, even for a 9:00pm game, and the Amis Chapel folks were a lot of fun.
The church votes on us on Sunday after a Saturday night supper and Q/A. Tonight we will try to finish Nehemiah at church Bible study since our Wednesday was spent at the game.
The seminary has spring break (already!) March 6-10, but I have both OT and NT exams on Tuesday when school resumes.
Also, we are looking forward to Phil Thrailkill from Georgetown, SC, coming to lead spring revival March 10-12. He said everyone will be getting a packet of information, so we're looking forward to some good Bible teaching. Even though Phil is a nationally important evangelical United Methodist leader, he went to an historically Baptist school (Wake Forest University), was called to ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, and married a Baptist girl from First Baptist, Jacksonville, FL.
