Nat'l Discipleship Week

The last several weeks have been pretty full, with Vacation Bible School, a 1/2 day hermeneutics class each week day, and the usual church and children's appointments. Today at church we have the VBS Commencement Service.

Afterwards, our family leaves for National Discipleship Week at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC. We are looking forward to hearing Henry Blackaby, Thom Rainer, and Danny Akin speak.

Several families from our home church will be there, too, including the Wilsons and the Manns. Luke and Rachel are excited about the Bible camp there, too, they just don't know that they are excited about it yet.

We trust we will be prepared, refreshed, and encouraged to come home with new tools and ideas for ministry.
